The morning call

Good morning all.

Let your body draw to the call
You find happening within your soul.

As your muddy jeans go over your knees,
Let the happiness flow through you with ease.

Accept and enjoy whatever is, that is,
And know future worries are none of your busi-ness.

Take the autumn sun
As it streams from down,
Through the windows and closed doors,
And the garden path and more.

It’s time to be remembered,
To hold tight and be a contender,
For your own happiness, joy and surrender.

It’s time,
It’s time
It’s time.

It’s nicer this way than the offender.

So as I head out for another day in the soil,
With nature’s treats in full view,
I ask you, mother nature and askew,
To hold tight the beauty and treasure it for you.
